A new Color Theory Curriculum incorporating Itten/Albers with more culturally specific color perception, including natural history of pigment and tribal symbolism. Taught courses in Painting I & II, Experimental 2004 Painting, Drawing I & II, Figure Drawing and Upper Division Contemporary Issues, Printmaking and Survey I – Art History. Wrote, created and developed Intercultural Media Forum, an interdisciplinary contemporary issues and public art program. Received and administered three grants from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), Citizens Exchange Council and McCune Foundation.

Worked at both institutions (IAIA/CSF) as visiting professor/lecturer/ liaison. Developed the Intercultural Media Form. Worked with committees on faculty exhibitions and student exhibitions, i.e. Senior Thesis. Trained students and faculty to work with behaviorally disordered and mentally and physically challenged adults and children, while developing new curriculum for advanced art students. Taught Drawing I and Intercultural Media Forum.

Administered and taught interdisciplinary mentor program, collaborating with both administrations. In this innovative program, Native American and CSF art students worked hands-on and studied each semester with internationally acclaimed artists Jenny Holzer, Edgar Heap of Birds, Luis Jimenez and Bruce Nauman. Semesters culminated with major exhibitions for artists with sold-out public lectures at the Museum of Fine Art, Santa Fe. Students created their own alternative space/exhibit in conjunction with visiting artist. Visiting artist then gave final critiques of student work and artists installed public works. Developed grant funding, reading of catalogue raisonees and articles, discussion of theory, developing time-based installation work and public art pieces.

Executive Director; The Children's Art Studio School, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Beginning as collaboration with Museum of Fine Art, developed Studio Art Program for children ages 5-14. Then received first NEA grant to continue after-school art program as a children's studio program in my private warehouse studio. Created two editions of handmade, linen-bound books of children's poetry and lithos and etchings. Collaborated with Pam Smith at the Palace of the Governor's Press, where children set their own type and printed their own work.

Artist Residency, Summer; "Brantwood," the home of John Ruskin, Cumbria, England
Invited to research and create new body of work inspired by Ruskin's dwelling place and garden. Created series "The Seven Levels of Paradise" – The Green Paintings – large-scale landscape based oils, water-colors and artist's books. Will return summer of 2004-2005 to complete installation in Ruskin's studio.

Researched Duncan Grant/Vanessa Bell at Charleston.

Visiting Artist, Summer; De Marko European Art Foundation, Edinburgh, Scotland
As guest artist at the Edinburgh Festival, researched the Knight's Templar involvement in Scotland and their link with Malta, St. John's Hospitelier. Researched women's roles in this context. Created and installed "The Bride's Templar," an installation work at Torphican Preceptory, northern Scotland, 9th century Knight's Templar site.

Artist Residency, Spring Semester; Tagar Gap Art & Crafts Institute, Malta
Invited to work on large-scale "tapestry" paintings. Collaborated with fashion design and set design departments. Researched Knights St. John of the Cross / Knight's Templar and ancient goddess ruins, Gigantia. Had exhibition in historic 16th century rectory/ammunitions depot of installation pieces in collaboration with state composer Charles Camileri—a piece for four flutes, "Song Trap."

Slide lecture on travels to Slovenia and new work influenced by cultural differences/historical/architectural sites.

Wrote and received grants from the New Mexico Arts Division, New Mexico Women's Foundation, McCune Foundation and NEA for the reintroduction of indigenous and Hispanic traditional crafts in the isolated high mountain area of Northern New Mexico. Administered all aspects of funding, research, community outreach, scheduling of New Mexico craftspeople, teaching, for a diverse population of children, teens and elders. Developed and administered a poet and painter residency think-tank program for emergent artists.
